Roles and Responsibilities:
· Conduct a successful, aggressive action plan to include solicitations - outside sales calls, inside appointments and telephone calls. As a proactive sales manager, 60% (sixty) of time should be spent in active sales solicitation with new and existing clientele.
· Assist the Director of Sales in the preparation of the annual marketing plan, including the action plans covering the business travel market.
· Send proposals on all projects, or companies, which fit the profile of the property and actively follow through to convert from proposal to definite status.
· Ability to dig into business travel data, comp set data and get the know the in-house guests, to drive profitable business to the hotel.
